Edge Design studio was engaged to fitout a new venue on South Steyne in Manly (formally Shore Club). The Manly Salt House embodies a Palm Springs 1950s beach club feel with use of terrazzo floors, ribbed timber panelling and retro furniture. Fine steel framed shelves for alcohol display, Carrera marble bar tops and ribbed glass wall lights create a classic yet relaxed look that is well suited to the coastal beach setting the premises are situated in. The concept is layered with quirky elements such as wall tiles and denim upholstery. The look is tonal and colours are muted creating a breezy summer time atmosphere, perfect after a long day on the beach.
